Rye Whiskey
Rye Whiskey is distilled from a grain mash consisting of a minimum of 51% rye: a hardy grass containing a dark grain. These Rye Whiskey cocktails are sure to be a hit with your guests!
Canadian Rye Whiskey Cocktail
1 ½ oz - Canadian Rye Whiskey
½ oz - Cointreau or Triple Sec
½ tsp. - Fine sugar bitters
Shake all the ingredients over ice and pour into glass.
Klondike Rye Whiskey Cooler
1 oz - Rye Whiskey
3 oz - Ginger Ale
2 oz - Soda Water
Cherry Garnish
In a highball glass pour ingredients over ice.
Millionaire Rye Whiskey Drink
1 ½ oz - Rye Whiskey
½ oz - Triple Sec or Cointreau Grenadine
Shake all with ice and strain into martini glass.
Manhattan
1 ½ oz - Whiskey
½ oz - Sweet Vermouth or Dry Vermouth
1 Dash Bitters
Cherry Garnish
Strain into martini glass after shaking with ice. A good Manhattan calls for equal parts sweet and dry Vermouth.
Rye Whiskey Paralyser
1 oz - Rye Whiskey
1 oz - Kahlua
4 oz - Milk
2 oz - Coke
In a glass of ice pour in the Rye Whiskey and Kahlua, add in the milk and top of with the coke.
Ward Eight
1 oz - Rye Whiskey or Bourbon
1 oz - Orange Juice
1 oz - Lemon Juice
¼ oz - Grenadine
Lemon Twist garnish
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.
Apple Jack
1 oz - Jack Daniels
3 oz - Apple Juice
Pour over ice into highball glass.
Rye Whiskey Sour
2 oz - Rye Whiskey
3 oz - Lemon Juice
Lemon Garnish
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass.
