Chakka Pradhaman is the one of the mouthwatering dessert.I prepared this with the Jackfruit whick i kept for vishu kani.You can also try this delicious jackfriut payasam if u have jackfruit with you. I am sure that you will love it s taste

Ingredients

Ripe Jack fruit flesh-30-40(de seeded)
Jaggery-5-6 blocks
Thin Coconut milk-1 cup
Thick Coconut milk-1/2 cup
Cardamon powder-1/4 tsp
Ghee-1 tbs
Cashew nuts-8-10
Raisins-10

Method Of Preparation
  • Chop the jack fruit fleshes into small pieces and cook it until it becomes soft by adding water in it
  • Grind the cooked jackfruit into a paste
  • Heat thin coconut milk in a heavy bottomed pan and melt jaggery in it
  • Add the jackfruit paste in it and boil it until the mixture thickens.Stir it well
  • Then finally add the thick coconut milk in it and stir well.
  • Add the cardamon powder in it and mix well. Switch off the flame 
  • Heat ghee in a pan then add cashew nuts and raisins in it and fry until the cashew nuts turns golden brown in color
  • Pour it over the payasam
  • Delicious Chakka Pradhaman / Jack fruit Kheer is ready to serve hot
