Cauliflower curry
I started to find out new vegetable curries for our meal, because both me and my husband got fed up with the taste of the curries I usually prepares. One day I got the recipe of this curry from internet while searching for the cauliflower curry recipes. This recipe is different from the recipe i usually prepares and it's taste was also different. Both of us liked the taste of this curry. so I thought to share this recipe with you. It goes well with Rice and Chappathi. I am sure that you will find difference between the taste of this curry and the curry you usually prepares. Please try this recipe if u have cauliflower in your house. Ingredients

Cauliflower,cut into large florets- 400 gm
Potatoes,peeled and chopped into large pieces-2 nos,medium size
Onion-1 chopped
Tomato-1
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tbs
Red chili powder-1 tbs
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tbs
Grated coconut-1 cup
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves-few
Salt to taste


Method Of Preparation
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds in it and saute it for few minutes then add ginger garlic paste in it and saute it well then add onions and saute it for few minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder,coriander powder and red chili powder in it and saute it well 
  • Add tomatoes in it then add salt.
  • Finally add grated coconut in it and mix well and cook it for few minutes on medium flame until the tomatoes are cooked well
  • Grind the above mixture in a mixer by adding enough water in it. Grind it into a fine paste
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in it. Then add curry leaves in it
  • Add the above grounded mixture in it, 
  • Add salt in it, then add water in it and mix well 
  • Add potatoes in it. Once the potatoes are half cooked add the cauliflower florets in it
  • Cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame untill the gravy thickens and the potatoes and cauliflower florets are cooked well
  • Tasty cauliflower curry is ready to serve hot with rice or chappathi
