Semiya payasam/Vermicelli kheer is a one of the easiest dessert that you can prepare for any special occassions. This payasam/kheer is made by caramelizing sugar. Caramel flavor gives a unique taste for this payasam/kheer.While caramelizing sugar, you have to be very careful not to burn it. If it got burned, it is better to discard it and start with fresh sugar again, because burnt caramel will give bitter taste for payasam/kheer. In this semiya payasam/vermicelli kheer, I added sabudana also. Let us come to the recipe. Try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you...
