It's preparation is very simple. First we need to cook the corn kernels for 2 minutes in a boiling water. Coat the cooked corn kernels with a mixture of corn flour, rice flour, all purpose flour/maida, pepper powder and salt. You need to make sure that the corn kernels are well coated with this mixture. Ingredients

For Cooking Corn Kernels

Corn Kernels-1 1/2 cup
Water-3 cup
Salt-1 tsp

For Frying Corn Kernels

Corn Flour-1/4 cup
Rice Flour-1/4 cup
All Purpose Flour/Maida-1tbs
Pepper Powder-1/4 tsp
Salt-1/4 tsp
Oil- For Deep Frying

For Flavoring

Kashmiri Redchilli Powder-1/2 tsp
Aamchur Powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder-1/4 tsp
Onion-2 tbs (Chopped)
Coriander Leaves-few (Chopped)

Method Of Preparation
  • Remove the corn kernels from the sweet corn
  • Take water in a Pan. Add salt in it. Let the water boil
  • Once water started to boil, add the corn kernels in it.
  • Stir and boil it for 2 minutes
  • Switch off the flame and drain the water
  • Add corn flour, rice flour, all purpose flour/maida, pepper powder and salt in the cooked corn kernels
  • Mix it gently. Make sure that the corn kernels are well coated with the flour mixture
  • Heat oil in a pan. 
  • Deep fry the corn kernels until it turns golden and crisp
  • Drain the excess oil in a tissue paper and transfer it into a mixing bowl
  • Add Kashmiri redchilli powder, aamchur powder, cumin powder, finely chopped onion, coriander leaves and salt into it. Mix it well
  • Crispy Corn is now ready to Serve
