Ingredients
Apple-1 (Chopped)
Oil (Any Flavorless oil)-1/4 cup
Powdered Jaggery-1/2 cup
Milk-3/4 cup
Wheat Flour-2 cup
Cinnamon Powder-1/2 tsp
Nutmeg Powder-1/2 tsp
Baking Powder-1 tsp
Baking Soda-1/2 tsp
Salt-1/4 tsp
Milk-1/4 cup
Method Of Preparation
- In a mixer add apple, oil, powdered jaggery and milk
- Grind it to a fine puree
- Transfer the puree into a bowl
- Place a sieve over it
- Add wheat flour, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt into it
- Sift it
- Mix it
- Add milk into it and mix it well
- Take a oil greased cake tin
- Pout the cake batter into the cake tin
- Tap it for removing air bubbles
- Take a heavy bottomed pan
- Add salt in it
- Level it
- Place a rack over the salt
- Close it with a lid
- Cook it in medium flame for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes, Open the lid
- Place the cake tin over the rack
- Close it with a lid
- Cook it in low flame for 45 minutes
- After 45 minutes, open the lid
- Insert a tooth pick in the middle
- It came out clean, so cake is ready
- Take out the cake tin from the pan
- Transfer the cake into a plate
- Allow it to cool down completely
- Cake is now ready to cut into pieces
