Chicken Tikka
Here I am posting an easy recipe of chicken..I was searching for variety of chicken recipes and came across this recipe of chicken tikka in a magazine..Chicken tikka is a common dish at Indian restaurants and it can be served both as an appetizer and side dish.It is prepared by baking the small pieces of boneless chicken using skewers in a clay oven after marinating in spices and yogurt.U can use this chicken tikka for preparing chicken tikka masala gravy. It is very easy to prepare and very tasty also.U can also try this recipe

Servings:2 people

Ingredients

Boneless chicken breast-300gms(Cut it into cubes)
Yogurt-2 tbs
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red chili powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala-2 tsp
Cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp
Cardamon powder-1/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbs
Chat masala-1 tsp
Lemon juice-1 tbs
Olive oil-2 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion-1 cut into cubes
Capsicum-1 cut into cubes

Method Of Preparation
  • First cut the chicken into small cubes and remove the moisture by using paper towel
  • In a bowl take all the spices given in above list and add yogurt,lemon juice and oil in it and mix well
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with the mixture in the bowl for at least 4 hours to overnight in the refrigerator
  • After that thread the marinated chicken pieces and the cubed onion and capsicum pieces on to the skewers. Spray oil on top and make it ready for grill
  • Preheat the oven to 450 F, Bake at 450 F for 10 mins on one side, after 10 mins turn it to other side and bake for another 10 mins
  • After baking for 10 minutes each, change your oven mode to Broil
  • Broil chicken pieces for 5 mins
  • Serve it hot and garnish with thin onion rings and lemon
