Ingredients
Poha(Aval)-1 Cup, thin
Boiled and mashed potato-2
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves(finely chopped)-1 tbs
Salt-1/2 tsp
Method Of Preparation
- Wash Poha with fresh water and then drain out the water from it
- In a bowl take washed poha and then add boiled and mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, Red Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powder, Ginger garlic paste, Curry leaves(finely chopped)and salt
- Mix every thing well
- Once vada mix is ready, divide this into small portions and make small ball sized patties
- Heat oil in a pan
- Drop patties into hot oil carefully
- Deep fry them for 5 minutes
- Fry them both sides evenly
- Once they turn light brown, remove from pan
- Poha pakoda is now ready to serve hot
