You can check that post by clicking the link mentioned above. This is a recipe of a side dish that you can prepare within few minutes with very few ingredients that are always available in your kitchen. It will tastes delicious and it will go well as a side dish with rice. Only problem is that you may feel itching in your hands after peeling and slicing yam. To avoid this, apply some oil on your hands and then peel and slice yam. Sometimes after eating it, you may feel itching on throat n tongue. To avoid that add some sour agent like tamarind, curd or lemon juice while cooking it. In this recipe I added lemon juice while cooking the yam and curd while marinating.
I used to prepare yam dishes with store-bought yam piece only, but this time when I visited one of my cousins house, I got an organic elephant foot yam, that grown in their home garden. When I got that elephant foot yam, I thought to prepare some variety dishes with that yam. First I tried Elephant Foot Yam Kheer Recipe | Chena Payasam Recipe.
